You are a first time father and you will be at panic for the silliest medical emergencies. But don’t worry; pediatricians are trained to take this kind of situations. If you have a question about anything at all that is health related, then don’t hesitate to give your doctor a call.

Talking to other dads out there is going to help you. They have been in those shoes before and they have the best advice to give. So listen up and take down notes if you must!

Reading is one of the best things you can do at a low expense to make sure your child’s brain develops very well. It will aid them in speaking earlier and, believe it or not, they get entertained. So invest in books, or just read to them materials you can download free online.

Children take your words seriously. They have lots of time to remember everything you say. So when you promise to do something for them, you don’t have a choice but to do it. Otherwise, you will be slowly pushing your child away.

You can never perform your role as a father if you are not healthy. Same thing, you will have a hard time if your baby is unhealthy as well. Never skip on monthly check-ups and vaccines and you have to stop your vices such as drinking and smoking.

Fatherhood is a serious thing but the best thing to do is to just enjoy it! Cherish every moment because this day won’t be like tomorrow. Tomorrow, your baby will be a day older!
