Haribo is a confectionery company, based in Bonn, Germany. Johannes “Hans” Riegel Sr., founded the company in 1920. Haribo specializes in making gummy and jelly, such as gummy bears and jelly sweets. It actually made the first gummy candy back in 1922. Haribo’s most popular products are Starmix, Supermix and Tangfastics. The company’s famous tagline says, “Haribo makes children happy – and adults as well”.
