10. Superman Ride
Superman Ride – The Ride of Steel comes with three different versions in the US but this one proves to be the most exciting yet the scariest of the three. Basically, this ride drops you off in to a tunnel at the height of 221 feet with a scary speed of 77 mph. This ride also consists of 2 bunny hills, 3 camel backs, and 10 seconds of 0-gravity moment.
Maverick is a rollercoaster ride found in Cedar Point, Ohio and was built in 2007. It may not be the fastest or the highest of its kind but the complete trip gives you 2 ½ minutes of yelling, shouting, and begging the operator to stop. It also offers a good number of turns and twists which make the ride even more exciting and scarier at the same time.
8. Expedition GeForce
This ride is found in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany and is considered as the biggest rollercoaster ride in Europe. The track is very long so you will surely satisfy yourself riding on it. You’ll find yourself at a height of 203 feet and at a speed of 74 mph or even faster. It also offers 7 moments of zero gravity, giving you the sensation that it’s as if you’re flying.
7. Tower Of Terror
This ride speeds up to 100 mph and is found in Gold Coast, Australia. Riding on it gives you the opportunity to experience reaching the height of a 38-story building and then drops you off in a zero-gravity manner (6 ½ seconds) which actually gives you shiver and chills.
This is known as the second dimensional roller coaster ride. It comes with a longer track compared to others and would usually take you to a height as high as 250 feet! Reaching the top also gives you the opportunity to have a glimpse on Mount Fuji.
5. Kingda Ka
Kingda Ka is known as the father of all of the world’s rollercoasters. It is found in Jackson, New Jersey. The topmost level of this ride takes you to a height of 45 stories or 456 feet. This coaster ride is catapulted, accelerating it with 128 mph speed.
This is the scariest ride in the UK and is ranked number four in the list. Riding on it gives you the feeling of being headless.
